People of all walks of life experience the power of partnership when they join with Habitat for Humanity to build, repair, or advocate for better homes for all.  We would like to extend this opportunity to you to partner with us.

In 2018, Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Montana celebrates 25th year of partnership in Southwest Montana.   During this time, Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Montana has partnered with hundreds of community members to build 72 homes in four communities: Butte, Whitehall, Boulder, and Dillon.  An average of three homes per year. To continue our work partnering with homeowners with disabilities we need your help in raising $100,000 – the cost of a single home .Your dollars will stay in the community to buy land, materials, needed contracted services, and finishes for a home.   The final cost of a home includes another $25,000-$30,000 in sweat equity and volunteer time.  The home will contribute to our communities for decades to come.

In Southwest Montana, literally hundreds of families need this partnership with Habitat for Humanity that coordinates home construction, support for housing counseling, emergency repair, and painting programs to help homeowners and build neighborhoods.

Communities need the investment that comes from these partnerships, and neighbors need to feel the satisfaction of rolling up their sleeves to make change a reality for families that gain independence through a permanent home.

Partner families experience a home that results in greater stability, strength and confidence to live a better life.    Over time, these partnerships help rebuild neighborhoods and communities, adding to the tax base, and helping everyone, particularly children who grow up in a place they can be proud of. These safe, decent, and affordable homes have transformed lives for the better – both the lives of the homeowners and the lives of the volunteers and staff who have worked to help them reach their dreams of homeownership.

We use hammers, nails and boards to build hope with families who want to help themselves, while building community.

Thank you for considering an urgently needed tax-deductible contribution to help us reach our goal of helping more Montanans to build their own homes through sweat equity and hard work.
